DESIGN FOR BRAID.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,846, dated November 14, 1899.

Application filed October 19, 1899. Serial No. 734,131. Term of patent 3- years.

Be it known that I, HENRY BERNSTEIN, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia,State of Penn- 5 sylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Braid, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

The leading feature of my design for braid is a body formed of plaited stripes and brushes on said stripes.

Figure 1 represents a face View of a piece of braid embodying my design. Fig. 2 rep- I 5 resents a section thereof on line as m, Fig. 1.

In the drawings, A designates a piece of braid, the body of which is composed of plaited stripes B and brushes C thereon.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters 20 Patent, is-

The design for braid substantially as shown and described.
