SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,943, dated December 5, 1899.

Beitknown that 1, CHARLES LA DOW, a eitizen of the United States, residing at the city of Albany, county of Albany, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Plowshare-Patteru, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which- Figure 1 is a plan. Fig. 2 is a reverse plan. Fig. 3 is a section along the lines 3 3 of Fig. 1.

The leading or material feature of my design eonsists in a plowshare-pattern having its molding-bed A substantially triangular in outline and having projected from the molding-bed A on one side thereof a plowshareshaped portion 13, said portion 1% being in cross-section concave on one side and convex on the other, as shown in Fig. 3. As thus arranged the ploWshare-pattern has the design on one side of the face of the plowshare and on the other side on the back of the plowshare.
