DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,608, dated April 25, 1899. Application filed March 24. 1899. Serial No- 710,377. Term of patent 7 years.
To (til whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK STEWART, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Clock-Frame, of which the following is a specification.
lhe accompanying drawing shows my design of a clock-frame by a view in front elevation.
As shown in the accompanying drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the figure of an anchor A, intersected by a circular wreath 13. At the opening in the wreath is presented a clock-face C, and the anchor rests in inclined position on a base I), shown longitudinally curved. The wreath is represented as fastened by a ribbon a, containing a how a, to the anchorring, whence the ribbon passes about one arm of the cross-head A of the anchor, and from the wreath below the opposite arm of the crosshead there projects a bunch of leaves I), below which is shown rope c, a section thereof also showing under the anchor. A piece of drapery (Z, ornamented with a rosette f, extends from a side of the wreath over and depends from a fluke of the anchor and is lost in a tassel g, resting on the base D.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a clock-frame, shown and described.
