Be it known that I, JESSE II. SROFE, a. citizen of the United States, residing at Kokomo, in the county of Howard and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and use ful Design for \Vire Fences, of which the following is a specification.

In the accompanying drawing I have shown a side elevation of a wire fence presenting my design.

As shown. in the drawing,- the leading or more important features of my design consist in the fence having the several horizontal strands or wires A, 13, G, D, and E, running longitudinally through the fence, and the denblepickets F, having curved tops, which overlap or cross each other above the top strand or wire A and which have parallel portions f extending through the space between. the strands or wires A and C, and the inclined pickets, the whole presenting an attractive 50 and ornate appearance, as shown in the draw ing.

What I regard as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
