DESIGN.
.KITSBLMAN PATTERN FOR WIRE FENCING.
Wigcssts Patented ApINZG, 1898.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
DAVIS M. KITSELMAN, OF RIDGEVILLE, INDIANA.4
DESIGN FOR A PATTERN FOR WIRE FENCING.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DAVIS M. KITSELMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ridgeville, in the county of Randolph and State of Indiana, have invented a new and original Design for Wire Fencing, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a pattern for wire fencing; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in two longitudinal parallel twisted cables and a series of separate disconnected twisted wire pickets arranged side by side and intersectin g the cables, each picket having its separate portions between the cables crossed to form a single X-shaped ligure and provided at one end with an approximately semicircular loop projected at one side of one of the cables.
In the drawing the figure is a plan view or elevation of a section of wire-fence pattern embodying the herein-described design.
Referring to the drawing, the numeral 1 designates parallel twisted cables running lengthwise of the fence pattern and having interwoven therewith separate disconnected twisted wire pickets 2. The Wire pickets 2 are arranged side by side and extend across the space between the cables, and each of said pickets has its separate portions between the cables crossed to form X-shaped figures 3 and is provided at one end with an approximately seincircular loop 4, projected at one side of one of the cables.
The design for a pattern for wire fencing, herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I have hereto affixed my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
