DESIGN FOR A PATTERN FOR WIRE FENCES.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,332, dated March 31, 1896. Application filed October 8, 1895. Serial No. 565,084. Term of patent 7 years.

To ail whom it may concern.-

llc it known that we, ALVA L. KITSELMAN and DAVIS M. hITSELMAN, citizens of the United States, residing at Ridgeville, in the county of Randolph and State of Indiana,havc invented a new and original Design for Virel enec Patterns, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design for a wire-fence pattern; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.

The leading feature of the design resides in a wire-fence pattern having a series of horizontal twisted cables and a series of twistedwire pickets interwoven with the cables and intertwined with each other to form in the spaces between the intermediate and the uppermost and lowermost cables diamondshaped figures and vertically alined reverscly-disposed triangular figures arranged between each pair of diamond-shaped figures, and in the central space between the intermediate cables the pickets are arranged to form plain oblong rectangularly-shaped figures, each of which figures is bounded entirely by its own boundary-line.

A minor feature of the design resides in providing the pickets at their upper ends with circularly-shaped figures extended above the uppermost cables.

In the drawing the figure represents an clc ration or plan view of a scctioupf ornamcw tal fencing-pattern embodying the herein-dc scribed design.

Referring to the drawing, the numeral 1 designates horizontal twisted-wire cables arranged parallel with each other and forming longitudinal spaces thercbetweeu. A series of twisted-wire pickets 2 are interwoven with the cables 1 and are intertwined with each other to form in the spaces between the intermediate and uppermost and lowermost cables diamond shaped figures 3 and verticallyalined reversely-disposed triangular figures 4, arranged between each pair of diamondshaped figures. In the central space between the intermediate cables the pickets 2 are arranged to form plain oblong rectangularlyshaped figures 5, each of which figures is bounded by its own independent boundaryliue, and above the uppermost cable the pickets are provided with circularly-shaped figures 6.
