DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,173, dated February 14, 1899. Application filed July 21, 1897. Serial No. 645,471. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, ROBERT G. HOPKINS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Somerville, in the county of Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and useful Design for Bottles, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in explaining its nature.

The design is illustrated in the figures of the drawings; and it comprises a cylindrical bottle with a neck D, having an inward curve (I and terminating in an outwardly-flaring top d being finished in a bead, where it joins the top (l the lower part of said neck, where it joins the cylindrical portion, having an outwardly-rounded or bulging portion. The cylindrical portion of said bottle is characterized by a base B, having at its lowest portion a slightly outwardly curved section or head I), with a narrow strip of surface ornainenta tion O springing therefrom.

Having thus fully described my invention, I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States The design for a bottle as herein shown and described.
