The accompanying drawing is a perspective view of a haine-hook embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design consists of an elongated plate having at one end a hollow vertical cylindrical eye and having approximately in the center of its upper edge a recess which has substantially the form of an inverted T and which is composed of a narrow central upper portion and a broad or elongated lower portion, this recess being bounded at the top by two like hook-shaped salient portions or projections of the plate, which face each other on opposite sides of the upper central portion of the recess, at the ends by two like curved retreating or concave portions of the plate, which extend upwardly, outwardly, and downwardly from the lower end or point of each salient portion, and at the bottom by the horizontal top edge of the lower portion of the plate.
A represents the plate; B, the vertical hollow cylindrical eye at one end of the plate; C, the invcrted-T-shaped recess, composed of the narrow upper portion c and the broad lower portion c; D, the hook-like projections or salient portions of the plate, which face cach other on opposite sides of the narrow upper portion c of the recess; e, the concave or retreating portions of the plate, which extend from the points or lower ends of the hook-like projections upwardly, outwardly, and downwardly, and f the horizontal top edge of the lower portion of the plate, which forms the bottom of the broad lower portion of the recess.
