DESIGN FOR A WOODEN BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,414, dated March 29, 1898.
Application filed February 28, 1898. Serial No. 672,109. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WEBSTER 0. Items, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a \Vooden Box, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is an elevation; Fig. 2, a plan, and Fig. 3 a vertical section with the cover elevated.
The general configuration of the box is round; and the leading features of my design consist in the cylindrical configuration of approximately the same height as width, with plain parallel sides, flat top and bottom, with adjacent annular heads at the respective ends of semicircular and V shape in cross section, and with a pair of annular V-shaped beads in cross-section at the upper end of the body.
The design of the cover A comprises the plain parallel sides a a, the fiat top Z), the semicircular annular bead c at the upper edges, and the adjacent smaller and V-shaped annular bead c.
The design of the bod y B comprises the plain parallel sides (1 d, corresponding with the parallel sides a a of the cover, the flat bottom 6, the semicircular annular bead f at the lower edge, and the adjacent smaller and V-shaped annular bead f, and the pair of similar annular and adjacent V-shaped beads 9 near the upper end of the body 15.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a wooden box, substantially as shown and described.
