'DESIGN* Patented Oct. 22, I90I.
n. J. BITTER. 4
SWING FRAME.
(Apglimtion filed am. as, 1901.)
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRY J BITTER, OF TIPPECANOE CITY, OHIO.
DESIGN FOR A SWING-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,224, dated October 22, 1901.
Application filed $eptember 23, 1901. Serial No- 76,303. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY J. BITTER) a citizen of the United States, residing at Tippe- .canoe City, in the county of Miami and State 5 of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Swing-Frame, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, wherein- 0 Figure 1 is a plan view of a swing-frame embodying my design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of the same, and Fig. 3 is a side elevation.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or 5 material feature of my design consists of a rectangular base from each side of which a rectangular frame extends upward, said frames being of less width than the length of the sides and being inclined toward each other,
0 in conjunction with inclined members extend ing from the tops of these frames to the cor- 11ers of the base and other inclined members extending from the first-named inclined members in a divergent direction therefrom 5 to the ends of the base.
In the said drawings, l'indicates the rectangular base, composed of the end members 2 and side members 3 From each side mem ber arises a rectangular frame 4, of less width than the length of the side member and composed of a top piece 5 and side pieces 6. These two upwardly-extending frames are inclined toward each other, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2. From the top of each upright frame there extend to the adjacent corners of the rectangular base 1 inclined members 7, and from a point about half-way up each of the inclined members 7 there extends to the adjacent end piece 2 of the base 1 a divergent member 8.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is'
The design for a swing-frame, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
HENRY J. BITTER.
Witnesses:
