DESIGN FOR A CELLAR-GRATE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,448, dated May 16, 1893.

Application filed February 2'7, 1893. Serial No. 463,957. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that l, FRANCIS A. PETER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Deihertsville, in the township of \Vashington, county of Lehigh,and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cellar-Grates,0fwhich the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

The drawing represents a front view of a cellar grate.

The grate is composed of a series of parallel Vertically arranged members, twisted at center, and having their ends coiled in opposite directions, the whole being inclosed by a rectangular frame and backed by two horizontal pieces.

The frame has rosettes at each of its corners and at center of each of its members, with sprays or vines running from each side of the central figures or rosettes, all being in intaglio.

What I claim is The design for a cellar grate substantially as shown in the drawing.
