ABBOTT LORING, OF BOSTON, IVIASSACIIUSETTS.
DESIGN FOR AN ATOMIZER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,976, dated July 5, 1898.
Application 5196, June 8, 1898. Serial No. 632,963. Term ofpatent 14 years.
To 0466 whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ABBOTT LORING, a citi' zen of the United States, residing at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Atomizers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a side view of an atomizer, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an edge view. Fig. 3 is a vertical sectional view on line 3 3 of Fig. 4, which shows a top plan view of the atomizer.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the round and tapered nose-pieceA and the flattened and upwardly-tapered mouthpiece B, said mouthpiece having a rib b at the junction of the mouthpiece and nose-piece.
In outline the body a of the atomizer is of oval shape in horizontal cross-section, the nose-piece extension A being cylindrical and tapered. The detachable mouthpiece is rounded at its base portion near the rib b and flattened at its upper end.
