DESIGN FOR A HAlR-CRIMPER MEMBER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,796, dated. June 7, 1898.

To all whmn it may concern:
Be it known that LROBERT E. ONLIN,a eitizen of the United States, residing at Poughkeepsie, in the county of Dutehess and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for a IIair-Crimper Member, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a hair-erimper member; andithas for its object to provide a design of this charaeter which shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a pronged jaw having extended from its end opposite the prongs, a rounded handleshank provided between its ends with a laterally-bowed U-shaped bend and at one end with a cylindrical hand-grasp.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective View of a hair-erimper member embodying the herein-described design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.
Referring to the accompanying drawings,
the numeral 1 designates a hair-erimper jaw having an approximately rectangular central portion 2 and provided at one end with a plurality of straight parallel cylindrical prongs 3. At the end opposite the plurality of prongs 3 the jaw 1 has extended therefrom a rounded handle'shank l, which handleshank is provided between its ends with :1 laterally-bowed U-shaped bond 5 and at one side of said bond with a cylindrical handgrasp 6, which completes the design of the crimper member.
