SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,356, dated March 8, 1898.

Application filed January 18, 1898- Serial No. 667,112. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom iv may concern:

Be it known that 1, Louis MCCARTHY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Insulators, of which the following is a specification, reference'being had therein to the accompanying drawing.

The accompanying drawing represents in elevation an insulator embodying my design.

The leading features of my design are the spherical body portion 1, the projecting stems 2 2, located at opposite sides of the said body,

and the intermediate equatorial rib or head,
