DESIGN FOR A MEAT-KNIFE, 81.0.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,186, dated January 18, 1898.

Application filed December 3,1897. Serial No 660,709- Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom, it may concern:

Be it known that I, HARVEY E. BARDEN, a gitizen of the United States, and a resident of Granville, in the county of \"ashington and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Meat- Knife, Cleaver, and Tenderer, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming r 0 part thereof.

20 The long curved edge C is the usual knifeedge.

The value of the angle between the tenderer edge and the cleaver edge is apparent and is one of the most important features of my design in that each edge is distinct.

The blade is made of double-beveled steel, shaped as shown in Fig. 2, and is provided with the usual hole D, Fig. l, for suspending it when not in use.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a meat-knife, cleaver and tenderer as herein shown and described.
