Be it known that I, WILLIAM F. As shown in the drawings, the leading feature of my design is a wheel-hub band A, having at its inner end an annular ofiiset or bead a, the exterior surface of which oifset or head is rounded transversely and the interior surface of which is composed of the annular wall 12, standing at substantially a right angle to the axis of the band, and the annular wall 0, extending from said wall 1) to the inner end of the band at a slightly obtuse angle to the wall I), as shown in Fig. The exterior surface of the hand between said offset or bead and its outer end is shown in the drawings as being a smooth surface without projections or indentations; but such surface is not material to my design, the essential feature of which is a wheel-hub band having at its inner end an annular offset or head the inner surface of which is composed of two annular walls arranged substantially as shown.
