DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-STAND.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 27,015, dated May 4, 1897. Application filed March 16, 1897 Serial No. 627,886. Term of patent 14 years.
Be it known that I, PHILIP A. MYERS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ashland, in the county of Ashland and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bicycle-Stands, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings,in which- Figure .l is a side elevation of the stand, and Fig. 2 a perspective View, Fig. 3 being an end view.
The leading feature of my design consists in a double A-frame arranged parallel and connected at the bottom.
As shown, the stand comprises two sides arranged parallel to each other and made up of inclined strips, each side being identical with the other and having a cross-pieee arranged centrally of the inclined pieces, making the configuration of the lettcrA. A shorter piece connects the parts of the A at the upper end, and above this piece a circular opening is made in the adjacent portions of the inclined piece. The parallel A portions are connected at the lower ends by the cross-bars I.
What I claim is A design for a bicycle-stand, herein shown and described.
