DESIGN FOR A STAlR-CARPET BUTTON.

.To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ROBERT H. WARREN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stair-CarpetButtons; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanyin g drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan of my newly-designed stair-carpet button, and Fig. 2 is a section of the same on line a.

The leading feature of my design is a staircarpet button haviu g on the face thereof acorn and leaf shaped oruamentations disposed around the central perforation.

0 c are the acorn-shaped ornaments, the stems of which appear to radiate from the center of the button, and Li (Z are the oak-leafshaped ornaments, alternating with the acornshaped ornaments.

What I claim as new is The design for a stair-carpet button herein shown and described.
