DESIGN FOR A SPECIFICATION forming part of De Application filed April 30, 1896. Seri To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALBERT JoIiN ALeooK, asubjeetof the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Vancouver city, in the countyof Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia and the Dominion of Canada, have invented a new and original Design for Lamp and Gas Chimneys and Globes, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for lamp and gas chimneys or globes, and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a lamp and gas chimney or globe c0m poundly curved in an upward direction from its contracted neck to form at the top a widened annular dished enlargement, having at its edge a peripheral series of approxiniatel y vertically-disposed inverted-U-shaped figures bounded by unbroken signioidallines which form widened U-shaped spaces between said figures.

Referring to the drawings, the numeral l designates a lamp and gas chimney or globe compoundly curved in an upward direction from its contracted neck to form at the top a widened annular dished enlargement 2. The dished enlargement 2 is provided at its edge with a peripheral series of approximately vertically disposed inverted- U shaped figures l3, bounded by sigmoidal lines 4-, which form between the figures 3 widened U-shaped spaces 5.
What I claim is The design for a lamp and gas chimney or globe herein shown and described.
