CHEbNEY L. JONES, Oh RIDGENVOOI), NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A GAME-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 25,816, dated July 21, 1896.
Application filed April 10 1896. Serial No. 587,032. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, OHESNEY L. JONES, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rid gewood, in the county of Bergen and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Game-Boards, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form part thereof.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of my new and original design for game-boards; and Fig. 2, a section thereof on line 2 2, these two views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in a rectangular board or base A, the edges of which are curved or rounded, and on which is placed or formed an annular flange or wall B, the diametrically opposite points of which are formed with inwardly-directed segmental chambers B. The inner walls are provided with an opening I).
\Vithin the annular flange or wall B is se (-11 red a second flange or wall I), the general form of which is that of a circle, but which is irregular in contour, the opposite sides being curved inwardly at d, and within this wall D is a similar wall G, which is also provided with opposite openings g, and within the wall or flange G is a fourth wall or flange II, which is similar in form to the walls G and is provided with openings H. Thus it will be seen that the appearance of the gamehoard is that of a rectangular base and on which is secured a circular Wall or flange, the inner sides of which form diametrically opposite chambers or compartments, and within said circular wall are formed three other walls, irregular in general outline, and each of which is smaller than the other.
Having described my invention, what I claim is- The design for game'boards as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name, in presence of the subscribing witnesses, this 9th day of April, 1896.
('IXESNEY L. JONES.
