DESIGN FOR A GAME-BOARD.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,788, dated October 26, 1897.

Be it known that I, HENRY L. IIASKELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ludington, in the county of Mason and State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and original Design for Game-Boards; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appcrtains to make and use the same.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the obverse of my game-board. Fig. i] is a section taken through the center of the board, and Fig. 3 is a plan view of the reverse of the board.

The board has a fiat or plane face with a central spot and base-lines from which the play of the disks used in the game may be directed, an outer rim projecting above and below the face to retain the playing-disks and to serve as a foundation for a earom-eushion, and the board has in this example curved corners. In each of the corners outside the base-line is a circular opening to receive a pocket.

The reverse of the board has the projecting rim, the face, and the circular openings of the obverse, and has in the center a checkered space.
