Mil/1% A YTORNE Y8 UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
JAMES L. ROBERTSON, JR., OF NEHV YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A GAME-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,316, dated October 2, 1900. Application filed May 28, 1900. Serial No. 18,331. Term of patent 3i years.
"'0 all, whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES L. ROBERTSON, J r., a citizen of the United States, and a. resident of the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a. Game-Board, of which the following is a. full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, and in which Figure 1 is a plan view, and Fig. 2 an edge view, of the board.
Ihe leading features of the design consist in the representation of that portion A of a foot-ball field between goals B, which space appears divided into sections by lines intended to represent yard-lines, the representation of a main field (3, divided also by lines farther spaced than the lines between the goals, and linearly-divided figures D, E, F, G, H, K, L, M, and N at opposite sides of the space between the goals.
The detail features of the design consist in a center series of transverse lines represent iug yard measurements between the goals and lines at each side of this center series which simulate the five-yard measurements on the main field of foot-ball grounds, together with the circular figures D, E, F, G, H, K, L, M, and N, located in series at opposite sides of the space between goals. The said figures are segmentally and variably divided by radiating lines, and the figures represent dials.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a game heard as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
