Be it known that l, VIOLETTA ll. HIUREN, a citizen of the l'nited States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have in vented a new and original Design for Chair-Rocker Tips, fullyY described and represented in the fol lowing'speeification and the aeeonipanlving drawings, forming a part of the saine.
This invention relates to a special form for that class of shields coniinonl7 applied to the ends of chair-rook@rb` for protecting contiguous articles of furniture from injury by oontact therewith; and it consists in the specifieshape for such article shown in. the annexed drawings, in which- Figure l is a side view, Fig. 2 an end View, and Fig. 3 a perspective view, of the article.
The shield or tip is formed with a hollow substantially wedge-Shaped body al of reet-am gula-r cross-Section, having one of its convergent faces curved toward the other, which is substantially fiat, both terminating in the rounded transverse bead or protuberance b, extending the entire width of the wedge and 25 concealing the line of intersection of the said convergent f aces.
