SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,316, dated May 14, 1895.

Application filed April 6, 1395 Serial No. 544,760. Term ofpatent 7 years.

Be it known that I, ALBERT R. Power-men, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Rochester, Monroe county, New York, have invented and produced it new and original Design for Metal-Vere Stock, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a side elevation of apiece of metal formed according to my design, and Fig. 2 is a top plan View of the same.

The principal feature of my design is the convex portion A provided with the oval beads or ornaments a a which are formed thereon by stamping, if sheet m etal is used, or which are cast thereon, if cast metal is used. The Said oval beads or ornaments a (z are formed in relief upon the convex surface A of the metal; and around the base of the portion A is a bead a.

This stock is used in connection with the manufacture principally of Vessels of metal, and ordinarily forms part of the top portion of such vessels.
