DESIGN FOR AN OIL-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,312, dated May 14, 1895.
Application filed March 23, 1895. Serial No. 642.986. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ROBERT Z. LIDDLE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Albany, in the county of Albany and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Oil-Stoves; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
This invention relates to a new and original design for oil stoves and consists in the peculiar arrangement and shape of the parts hereinafter referred to and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein- Figure 1 is a front elevation, and Fig. 2 a side elevation, of my stove.
In the drawings the numeral 1 shows the top; 2, the standards; 3, an oval reservoir arranged in the rear of a cylindrical body 5 said body having an enlarged central portion 7 and a cylindrical extension 6 less in diameter than and surmounting the enlarged portion and ending in proximity to the top plate and having a door therein, the upper end of The essential features of my design are, and
what I claim as my invention is- 1. The standards, the cylindrical body having an enlarged central portion and a cylindrical extension less in diameter than and surmounting the enlarged portion, and an oval reservoir arranged in rear of the body, its ends projecting beyond the vertical sides of the body and extending but partly across the space between the standards, substantially as described.
2. The design for an oil stove substantially as herein shown and described.
