DESIGN FOR A VASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,254, dated April 30, 1895. Application filed March 27, 1895. Serial No. 543,414. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, RALPH WILooX BOOTH, a citizen of the United States, residingat New Brunswick, in the county of Middlesex and State of New Jersey, have invented and pro duced a new and original Design for Vases; and I do hereby declare the following to bea full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawing the figure represents an elevation of a vase embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in the ornamental configuration or shape given to the top and handle of the vase so that it will present a neat and attractive appearance to the eye.
In the said drawing the reference numeral 1 designates the base and 2, the body of the vase, which is of the form shown.
The numeral 3, designates the neck of the spout or upper portion of the vase which is of the ornamental shape shown, and starting therefrom is the upwardly extending curved and ornamented spout 4. At the opposite side the said top is formed with an ornamental scroll 5,With which is connected an ornamental circle 6, also connected with an ornamental circular figure 7, from which starts an ornamental curved arm 8, the lower end of which terminates at the base forming an ornamental handle of the neck. Ornamental rosettes 9, are also connected with the said handle.
What I claim is The design fora vase herein shown and described.
