SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,028, dated February 12, 1895.

Application filed January 16, 1895. Serial No. 535,160. Term of patent 3% years.

130 it known that I, ARTHUR MIDDLETON ROSE, residing at Yonkers, county of estchester, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Pattern to be \Vrought into Wilton.and other Garpetings in such coloring as may be designed; and I do hereby declare that thedrawingaccompanying this specification gives and center of a conventionalized leaf. The borderB is decorated with similar ornaments to the body, the principal leaf figure being near the outer edge.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

1. In a design fora carpet, the body A, substantially as shown.

2. In a design for a carpet, the border B, substantially as shown.

3. The design for carpets, consisting of the body A, and the border B, substantially as shown.
