DESiGN FOR A PAPER-RECEPTACLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,449, dated July 10, 1894.
Application filed April 6, 1894- Serial No. 506,633 Term of patent 3%: years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM EUGENE BOURNE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lyons, county of Wayne, and State of 5 New York,have invented and produced a new and original Design for Paper-Receptacles, of which the following is a specification,referonce being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1, is a side view of the case, complete. Fig. 2, is a cross section thereof.
The leading feature of my design consists in acylindrical body, the outlines of which, when viewed in elevation, fall within a rectangle and thus present to the eye a combined effect of smooth, symmetrical outline.
-A- is the body, circular, as shown in cross section in Fig. 2. The body, A, is provided, near its upper end with a series of annular ribs or heads, 0, and a similar series of beads, d, is formed on said body near the lower end thereof.
B- is the cover, its upper face convex, and having a heading -a about its periphery said head extending some distance beyond the sides of the body, A, of the case.
-b is a supporting arm consisting; of two members which extend parallel to the sides of the body, A, and are connected at their adjacent ends by a short horizontal arm which extends from the case, A, to a point beyond the head on the cover, B.
What I claim is- The design for a paper receptacle, substantially as herein shown and described.
