lVILLIAM STRICII ANI) PAUL M. ZEIDLER, OF NElV YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A PIANO-CASE.
SPECIFICATION fOrming part 0f Design No. 22,079, dated December 20, 1892.
Application led October 1| 1892. Serial No. 447,555. Term of patent 3% years.
Be it known that we, WILLIAM STRICH and PAUL M. ZEIDLER, citizens of the United States, residing at New York city,in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new andoriginal Design fora Oase for Pianos, Organs, die., of which the following isaspecification, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, and in which- Figure l is a front elevation and Fig. 2 an end elevation.
The leading feature of our design, is the general outline of the end elevation of the case A, it being wider at the base than the top.
The arms B and the toes C on the inner side, are on a projecting line, and have between them the pilasters D, which support the arms, making it more artistic in appearance. The upper part E recedes from the front, and the outline of the end elevation shows an unbroken line, and is ornamented by molding at places, such as the key-board, and the lower part of the frame. The toes on the sides project, having the saine projec tions as the arms, thus making the case wider at the bottom. The front elevation shows the ornamentation of sides, arms and columns D, which are placed, as stated, between the arms and toes. The upper frame E above the key-board F is paneled, one large panel G in the center, and one smaller panel on each side. The upper frame is ornamented at upper edge to conform with Sides. The lower part of the frame below keyboard has two panels, to correspond with upper one in design. The key bottom is hidden by molding fitted between the arms.
lHaving thus described our invention, what we claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
The design for a piano case, as herein described and shown.
