DESlGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,509, dated April 26, 1892.
Application filed March 10, 1892. Serial No. 424,461. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, MAX OBERFELDER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which shows a whisky-bottle formed in accordance with my design in elevation.
A denotes a bottle of the particular general form of the class of bottle known as a whisk ybottle.
The leading feature of my design consists in abottle having the general form of awhiskybottle and having the shoulder portion corrugated and fluted, as represented, the flutes extending in curves and tapering from the base of the neck of the bottle to that of the shoulder portion thereof or junction of the shoulder portion with the cylindrical body of the bottle.
A is the body of the bottle, which is cylindrical in its contour.
B is the corrugated and fluted shoulder, already described, and C is the neck. The neck 0 bulges or swells between its extremities, as shown at at. The cylindrical body of the but tie, both at the base of the shoulder B and near the base of the body A, is encircled by a series of parallel circumferential corrugations, each representing a corrugated band 0', which define the space to receive a label.
What I claim is The design for a bottle, herein shown and described.
