DESIGN FOR A WATCH-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 21,483, dated April 19, 1892.
Application filed March 17, 1892. Serial No. 425,366- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, THOMAS BENFIELD, a subject of Her Majesty the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for \VatclrCasegof which the following is a specifieation, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan view of my new and original design for a watch-case. Fig. 2 is a see- Lional view thereof, taken on the line X X on Fig. 1.
The loading or essential feature of the design consists of a series of ribs A, convex in cross-section and in the form of loops, such ribs or loops A being disposed or arranged as shown in Fig. 1, the intervening space or sur faeeeoniaininglhc ribs 1 also convex in cross section, as shown in Fig. 2 of the drawings, 20 and curved in their length,as shown in Fig. 1.
