Be it. known that I, THOMAS BENFIELI), a snbjert of Her Majesty the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and Statool' New Jersey, have invented and prod need a new and original Design for \Vateh-Cases, of which the following is aspecilieation, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 isa plan viewof a WRTClPCELSQSTTOW ing my new design. Fig.2 is asectional view thereof, taken on the line X X of Fig. 1.

The leading or characteristic feature of the design, as shown in the drawings, consists of a series of grooves 01' corrugations A, coinpoundly curved in their length, as shown in Fig. 1, and concave in cross section,as shown in Fig. *2. The several portions may, it is inanifest, he chased, engraved, or otherwise orna merited, as desired.

It is apparent that this design is applicable to loekets and other similar articles.
