SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,302, dated November 18, 1890. Application filed October '20, 1890- Berial No. 368,735- Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, JAMES L. FOLSOM, of the city of Brooklyn, county of Kings, State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had tothe accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be worked into or upon surfaces, such as carpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph is a face view of a carpet showing my new design.

My design consists of the body A and border B. The body A consists of approximately circular disks ornamented with conventionof the of the Witnesses: V
