To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, RODOLPHE W. E. CHRIS- TESEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Britain, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Lock- Case, of which the followingis a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
to Figure 1. is aface view of one side of a lockcase showing my design, and Fig. 2 is a corresponding view of the reverse side.
The leading feature of my design consists in a group or groups of rounded knobs or 15 bosses upon a raised figure.
A is one side of the lock-case, and B is the reverse side, each side having the ordinary keyhole C. Upon the side A, I form three raised figures 3 3 3, having a scalloped outline, and
immediately inside of the scallops and concentric therewith I arrange a circular series of bosses 4, and in the center of said figures a central boss 5, all as shown. On the reverse side B, I form around the key-hole C a raised figure 6, having mainly a scalloped outline and provided with a group or series of bosses 7, as shown. The contour of this figure is plainly shown in Fig. 2, and within said contour I form four sunken panels 8, composed mainly of curved lines, as shown.
What I claim is 1. The design for a lock-case herein shown and described, the same comprising the side A, having the raised figure with scalloped outline and group of bosses within said outline, 5 and the reverse having the raised figure about the key-hole with a group of bosses thereon, as set forth.
