DESIGN FOR A MIRROR-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part 0f Design No. 18,963, dated March 19, 1889.
Application filed February 1B, 1889. Seria] No. 300,1?2. Term of patent '7 years.

Be it known that I, HENRY BERRY, a citizen of the Unit-ed States, residing' at Shelton, in the count-y of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design fora Mirror-Frame, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which forms a part thereof, and which shows a plan view of a mirror-hack shaped in accordance with my design.
The leading features of my design consist in the circular backing having the radial scalloped figures about the edge thereof and the curved and tapered handle attached to said backing.
A is the mirr0r-baek,which is circular in outline,land which has extending around it, except at the point where the handle is joined thereto, the series of radial scalloped iigures o. The handle is joined to the backing at theinterval between the scallops lastl referred to by a small semicircular scalloped ligure, b,whencc two diagonally extended and fiuted figures, c,
at the top of the handles extend downward to the enlarged portion d of the latter. From this enlarged portion the handle curves downward and outward, diminishing in size meanwhile, and then the extremity is curved upward and inward to a convolution, o. Upon the handle appear rows of beaded figures f, which extend sinuously across the handle at intervals from the enlarged portion to the point where the extremity is turned upward.
I claim- '.lhe design for rnirror-frames, as herein shown and described, the saine comprising the circular backing having the radial scalloped figures around the edge thereof, and the curved and tapered handle convolved at its end extending outward from the backing, as set forth.
