DESIGN FOR A SCHOOL-KNAPSACK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 11,791, dated October 19, 1887.
Application filed February 14, 1887. Serial No. 227,513. Term of patent '1 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, MIoHEL BECKER, a citi zen of the United States, residing at New Orleans, in the parish of Orleans and State of Louisiana, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in a Design for a School- Knapsack; and I do hereby declarethe following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled inthe art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the rear portion of the knapsack when the same is be ing worn, and Fig. 2 is alike view of the front portion thereof.
The leading features in my design consist in rosettes arranged, respectively, on the straps and bottom of the knapsack and a novel configuration of'suspending-loop. Of these rosettes two large ones are represented by the letters A A, arranged on the straps on the rear of the knapsack, as shown. Two small rosettes or stars, c c, are attached to straps on the front side of the knapsack and four more of a like character are placed on its bottom.
The suspending-loop of the knapsack B is flat on its front and rear surfaces, but its top, bottom, and sides have the configuration of semicircles, as represented, said bottom being partially bifurcated.
Having described my invention,what I claim is The design for a knapsack herein shown and described, consisting of the knapsack B, the rosettes A A on the straps, the stars or rosettes O O O O O 0, arranged, respectively, on the straps and on the bottom, and the top loop having parallel flat sides and circular top, sides, and bottom.
