DESIGN FOR A BADGE.

To all whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, HENRY ELLEAU, a citizen of the United States, residing :it the eity and county of Sun Francisco, and State of California, have invented and produced anew and original Design for Badges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure l is a front view of the badge. Fig. 2 is a view showing the reverse side of the pendant or star-shaped portion.

The object of my invention is to produce a new and original design for badges; and to this end the same consists in a design showing a. flat rhbon-like body having at its upper extremity the figure of a bear represented as standing upon a bar, and at its lower extreniity a pendant of the ordinary five-pointed-star 2o shape.

In the drawings the ribbon and pendant are represented at B and C, respectively, and the bear at D, mounted upon a bar, A. in such a manner as to appear integral therewith, the parts being arranged substantially in the manner shown in the drawings.

Having described my new design forabadge, I claim- The design for a badge, consisting of the figure of a bear, D, bar A, ribbon B, and starshaped pendant C, substantially as described. h Ilwitness whereof I have hereunto set my HENRY ELLEAU.
