Description

H. H. WARNER.
BOTTLE.
Patented Sept. 6, 1887.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HULBERT H. WARNER, OF ROCHESTER, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,696, dated September 6, 1887.
Application filed April 26, 1687. Serial No. 236,255. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HULBERT H. WARNER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe, State of New York, have invented andproduced a new and original Design for a Bottle, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading features of my design for a bottle are, first, the semi-polygonal form of the body, and, next, the paneled sides thereof.
Figure 1 represents a horizontal section of a bottle embodying my invention, the same being in line a m, Fig. 2. Fig. 2 represents a side elevation thereof.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in the two figures.
Referring to the drawings, A represents the body of the bottle, which in cross-section is of polygonal form, ormany sides. The front sides of the body'are paneled, the panels being sunken and extending in the vertical direction of the body. The top 0 of the body, which is also polygonal or many-sided, ex- 2 tends in sloping direction to the neck D. The sides E are curved, but are substantially at a right angle to the back F, the latter being of the width of the bottle.
Having thus described myinvenlion, what I 0 claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
A design fora bottle having a back, F, of the full width ofthe body, a polygonal front with paneled sides B, the sides E, substantially 5 at right angles to the back, a top, and a neck, as shown and described.
HULBERT H. \VARNER.
