UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE BALL-POINT PEN Charles K. Lovejoy, Atlanta, Ga., assignor to Scripto, Inc., Atlanta, Ga., a corporation of Georgia To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Charles K. Lovejoy, a citizen of the United States, residing at Atlanta, in the county of Fulton and State of Georgia, have invented a new, original, and ornamentai Design for a Ball Point Pen, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which:

Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a ball point pen showing my new design, the lower portion oi the pen being shown in broken lines;

Fig. 2 is an enlarged fragmentary perspective view of the upper portion of the ball point pen shown in Fig. 1 and emphasizing the design features thereof, which include the tapering of the push button and associated parts at the top of the pen;

Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof as it appears rotated through 90, and

Fig. 4 is a side elevational view of the ballpoint pen shown in Fig. 1 as it appears with the ball point in retracted position.

The essential features of my design reside in the portions shown in solid lines on the drawing.

This application is a continuation-in-part of my application Serial No. D-23,984, filed March 11, 1953.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a ball point pen, as shown and described.
