Be it known that I, CHARLES H. BEELER, J r., (assignor to MACKELLAR, SMITHS & J OR- DAN,) of the city and county of Philadelphia, 5 Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Font of Printing Type, of which the following is aspecification. The nature of my design is clearly shown in the accompanying typographic impression, to 10 which reference is made; and it consists of a heavy unshaded inclined letter, the lower terminations of the up and down portions of which are curved to the right, as clearly shown in the E, F, H, K, L, P, R, T, V, \V, X, Y, 15 and Z.
