DESIGN FOR A PLASTER CENTER-PIECE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 14,258, dated September 4, 1883. Application filed December 1` 1882. Term of patent 14 years.
.To LU whom it may concern,.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM F. KELLETT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and original Design for Plaster Center-Pieces for Rooms, of which the following is a true and correct specifica` tion, reference being had to the accompanying engraving, in which- The figure represents my design, which consists of a frame, A, composed of four segments of ci rclcs with rosettes in the molding thereof. In the center of my design is a ring, F, of scallop and pyramid work, as shown in the engraving. Resting upon the ring F, and on two opposite sides thereof, are segments of 'circles E, with pointed scallops, as shown in the ligure. At two other points of said circle F, said points being opposite each other, there rests a base of scallop and banded Gothic leaves, C, in the center of which are scalloped and horseshoe ornaments D. Within said segments,
and opposite each other and radiating from said bunches of buds and berries on two sides 2 5 -opposi te each other resting upon said segment E, and on the other two sides resting upon thc horseshoe-shaped ornament D and scalloped and banded Gothic leaves C, all as shown in the said engraving.
I claimh A frame, A, composed of four segments 0f molded circles with reset-tes in the molding thereof, and containing within said segments bunches of buds and berries B, with stems resting in scalloped and banded Gothic leaf C and horseshoeshaped ornaments D, arranged opposite each other on two sides, and said buds and berries on the other two sides resting in segments of circles E,with pointed scal- 4o lops, all substantially as described.
