lSK-BROOM CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,466, dated December 5, 1882.
A ppliratinn tiled October '24, [8912. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, JAMES H. FLYNN and Jason ARTHUR SNELL, citizens of the United States, residing at Schenectady, in the county f of Schenectady and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Whisk-Broom Cases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accom psnyingillustration,formingpart k thereof.
A is the whisk-broom case, tapered and having the general form of the brush, and open at the top and bottom. Bands a a are placed on the case at the top and bottom parallel to the edge; but these bands may be omitted. Between the bands on the body of the case may be placed one or more ornaments, b.
B is the back of the whisk-broom case, made in the general form of a horseshoe.
The case A is attached to the horseshoeshaped back B, and preferably in such a way that it lies between the sides of the shoe and between the toe and heels, so that the whole of the shoe is visible outside of the case. The back B may be provided with studded ornaments 0. The case A and horseshoe shaped back B are also arranged in such relation to each other that when the whisk-broom is placed in the case the shoulders of the whisk-broom D are held between the heels of the shoe, as
shown.
