The chief feature of my design is the chain, either plain, twisted, or other form, running through a. broad band upon the flat surface of the trimmings, but forming a part of the same, the chain being inlaid upon the band. The chain is to be of some contrasting color with the band. 1t may be formed ofen-amel or inlaying composition, or it muy be formed oi' any metal the color of which will contrast with the band. Thus zinydnrk :und light metal may be combined, or a wlnte and a. Yellow metal, or any combination of nietnls and enamels of different colors which n ill bring out the design of'a. chain on n bund of any color.
I claim- The terret, hook, or other harnesstrimming having the exterior ornumented with a chain running through a, bro-.nl band upon the surface thereof, substantially as set forth.
