Be it known that 1, CHARLES I ltrreinm, ol' Pridgcport, in the count of Fairtield and btate of Connecticut, have invented anew De sign for a Toy for Exploding (laps and Fulminates, of which the followingis a specification.
My design consists in a toy consisting of a handle, diverging portions beyond the handle, and heads at the ends of the diverging portions, one serving as a cap or t'ulminatc receptacle and another as a hammer.
The accompanving drawing illustrates a to embodying my design.
A designates the handle, which as here shown has a curved outline and an ornamental surface.
B B designate two diverging portions extending from the handle A. At the outer ends. of these diverging portions are two heads, (I- (J. The heads shown are of grotesque appearance. The month of the head 0 terms a cap or t'ulminate receptacle, and the nose of the head C forms a hammer for exploding caps or t'nlmiuates in the said receptacle. This toy is of unique design, and hence will afford much amusement.
\Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters" Patent, is-
1. The design-for a toy for exploding caps and fulminates, consisting of a handle, diverging portions extending therefrom, and heads at the outer ends ot the diverging portions, one forming a cap or fulminatc receptacle and another a hammer, substantially as specified.
2. The design for a toy for exploding caps and fnlminates, eonsistingotthe handle A, the diverging portions B 13, and the heads U L", one forming a cap or t'ulminate receptacle and the other a hammer, substantially as specified.
