DESIGN FOR A RAlLROAD BULLETIN-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 11,841, dated July 6, 1880.
Application filed June 5, 1880.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALEX. S. MANN, residing at the city of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented a new and original De- 5 Sign for Railroad Bulletin-Boards, of which the following is a specification.
My design consists in a board for railway signs or posters, as shown in the accompanying photograph, which is a front elevation.
10 The leading feature of my design consists in a board carrying at top a model of a 1000- motive, B, standing on a flat base, 0, beneath which is a circular frame, D. At each side of the sign the board has rounded ornamental 15 extensions E, and below them is curved orna- Term of patent 3Q years.
mentally, as shown at F. Below the sign D is a box, A A, and at the lower part is a rectangular case, G. The face is ornamented with design in relief, as plainly shown in the accompanying photograph. 20
I claim as my design- The railway bulletin-board having the representation of a locomotive, B, at top, signframe D, case G, box A, and raised fancy-work, substantially as shown and described.
