CORRESPONDENCE-BLANK.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES J. BoncLANo, a citizen of the United States of America, residing in the city of Baltimore, State of Maryland, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Correspondence- Blanks, of which the following is a specification. l
This invention relates to a correspondence blank, whereby the personality of the writer is impressed upon the party addressed much more vividly than in the ordinary practice, so that'in' the sales argument or advertising campaign, collection, or whatever the enterprise to which the correspondence is incident, the personal qualities of the individual are given a similar effect to that which they would have in an interview; and to the medium of such correspondence or letter blanks upon which the method is depend ent.
Such a correspondence blank is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a view of the faceof the letter blank embodying the invention. I
Referring to the drawing by numerals: The blank includes a suitable letterhead 1, and is preferably to be addressed to the particular correspondentor prospect, the body 2 of the letter being contalned in the central portion of the sheet, which sheet or blank .is to be signed at 3. An important feature instance reads, Personal service from. In-
conncction with the portrait, the form shown also includes the name of the individual who is to sign the letters on the particular blanks in question, as at 6, and the Specification of Letters Patent.
