UNITED STATEs PATENT OEEIoE.
WILLIAM BYRON, on NEW YOR N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A BRACELET.
Specification forming part of Design No. 10,677, dated May 14, 1878; application filed May 1,1878. [Term of patent 7 years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM BYRON, of the city, county, and State of New York, have originated a Design for an Elastic Bracelet, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification, and which are as follows Figure 1 is a representation of the bracelet as it appears on the wrist of the wearer. Fig. 2 is a section through the line at 00 on Fig. 1.
The bracelet, which is of any desired width, has both its edges rounded to form the beadrnoldings A and A. The interior portion of the bracelet, between the bead-moldin gs, is perforated to form the series of eight-pointed rosettes, B, shown in the drawing. Each of these rosettes consists of a central ring, from the periphery of which proceed eight radial arms, which terminate at their outer extremities in the scalloped perimeter of the rosette.
Each rosette is joined by its two transverse scallops or points to the bead-molding, respectively, and by its two longitudinally 0pposite scallops or points to the corresponding points of the adjoining rosettes.
The pattern, as a whole, therefore, consists of two bead-moldings or bars, A and A, forming the edges of the bracelet, and a series of eight-pointed rosettes, joined to each other and to the bead-moldings, as shown and described.
What I claim as my invention is The design for an open-Work bracelet, com posed of a series of eight-pointed rosettes, and having bead-moldin gs upon its opposite edges, substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying drawing.
