Be it known that I, JOHN FR'YMIRE, oi Orangevill'e, in the county vof Columbia, and State of Pennsyl- Vania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements ,iu Fly-Nets, and do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of. reference marked thereon, forming a Figure 1 represents the rib and threads in posi-A tion.

rlhe object of this invention ,is to make a ily-net more durable, neate'r-iu' appearance, and more easily manufactured than any Hy-net now iu use.

In my'method of manufacturing vfly-nets, I make 'a rib pf leathexg'eyliudrieal in form, as shown in lig. 1, and puuctured with holes, for the threads to pass through, and be securely fastened tothe rib.

The thread is passed' through two of said holes in at or about right angles to the flrsiyby means of whieh/ ner substantially as shown an a stitcl the rib.

It will be observed that a neat stitch is thus made upon the mb of a {1y-uct, and from the nature of suoli a stitch, being securely :fastened down to the ribthe stitch is rendered secure, and the iiy-et is, as a ual/-- l 11ml result, made more durable than any now in use,

from the fact that there is but little wearto it, the threads being secured to the rib and rendered incapable offbeing drawn back and forth, as is now the Witnesses:
