The bottom, front and side walls are preferably reinforeed by a bottom and sides, whereby a strong and durable trtteture'is formed. Instead of employing woreu wire as a reinforcing element, we may, it' de ired. employ a series of \\ll't' rods '3 whieh are arranged across each other and em edded in the material forming the bot tom of the re eptaele. as shown in Figs. I and t' of the drawings, said wires or rod harin; their opposite ends bent npwardlr and pr jeeted into the material tot-tiling the -ide.-: and ends of the receptacle. The wires or rods T 'llltll form the. reinfort-in; element for this eonz-trttetion of the reeeptaele are arranged in the side and end wall. .-o that their endoverlap at the corner of the reeepntele, as clearly shown in Fig. I of the drawings.
The top and rear .-ide or end of the reeeptaele is pref rably eonstt'tttted of sheet metal whieh is t'ormed in three sections, a central angular it'llt-ll S whieh is formed to tit the upper rear eorner ol' the receptacle, to eorer a portion of the top and rear side, a httwn. lhe :eetiolt S is. provided on its o o ite end with flanges t whieh engage seeurely riveted thereto to hold said section 1- in llitltl.
