To all whom it may concern:

Be it known thatI, GRANT L. Dsnnong'a, citizen of the United States, residing at Ogdensburg, in the county of St. Lawrence and State of New York, have-invented certain new and useful Improvements in Wash- Benches, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a novel construction of wash-bench, or similar support, for

. of extreme simplicity withureference to num-' ber of parts, and which is collapsible or foldable so that it may be readily reduced in size when not in use and in order to economize space to be occupiedthereby.

For a full comprehension of the details of constructionof the inven'tion, reference is to be had to the following description, and to the accompanying drawings, in which:

Specifically describing the invention and referring particularlyto the drawings, it

will be observed that the wash-bench 1ll'ustrated consists of a top 1, legs 2 and braces. The top 1- is composed of sections 1, said sections being connected at their adjacent ends by means of stra hinges 5 composed of side plates connected together by a pintle rod 6. i The sections of the top 1 are therefore adapted to be folded together as shown in Fig. fl, and when the top 1 is folded the other parts of the invention-are received between thessections. Not only does the pintle rod 6 afford a hinge connection between the sections of the top 1, but the legs 2 which consist of spaced sides arepivoted at their upper ends to said rod 6. ,Transverse brace rods 7 connect the opposite sides of the legs 2 and the lowermost brace rods 7 of the legs 2 are connected together by a foldable horiby like in. the manner shown in F ig. 4.
